Date: 7th – 8th October 2025

Facilitators: VTC Administrative & Departmental Staff

1. Introduction

St. Louise de Marillac Vocational Training Centre (VTC) successfully held a two-day Exit Program for eight (8) second-year trainees who later graduated on 25th October 2025.
The program prepared the young women for life after training — equipping them with practical skills, confidence, discipline, and readiness for entrepreneurship and employment.

It served as a period of reflection, orientation, and hands-on preparation for their transition into the world of work.

2. Day One – Orientation & Reflection

The first session was opened by Sr. Gertrude, VTC Administrator/Coordinator, who highlighted the importance of the Exit Program and encouraged the trainees to uphold the values of professionalism and good conduct acquired during their training.

Facilitators for the day included:

  • Madam Evodia Morfaw, Head of Catering
  • Madam Alberta Suglo, Head of Dressmaking

The trainees engaged in interactive discussions on:

  • Life after VTC
  • How VTC has shaped their growth
  • Plans for business or career development
  • Personal reflections and aspirations

Miss Dana, a volunteer from Germany working with SCA/VTC, also participated and encouraged the girls to remain determined and innovative.
