On Friday, 19th June 2025, the St. Louise de Marillac Vocational Training Centre (VTC) had the honor of welcoming officials from the Conrad Hilton Foundation, in collaboration with the Conference of Major Superiors of Ghana (CMSRG). The visiting delegation included Angelique Mutombo, Nana Sangbenga, and Sr. Theodora, accompanied by Sr. Olivia Umoh, D.C., the Director of Safe-Child Advocacy (SCA) and Counselor at VTC.
The day was marked by warmth, celebration, and joy, as our trainees proudly showcased the skills and talents they have acquired at the Centre. The students prepared special presentations and entertainment, including welcome songs, a variety of cultural dances, and expressive group performances that highlighted the vibrancy and cultural richness of our Centre.

The visit provided an opportunity for meaningful engagement, as our guests interacted closely with the trainees, appreciated their dedication, and acknowledged the life-transforming work of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul through this vocational training apostolate.
“It was inspiring to see the joy, discipline, and creativity of the young women here,” shared one of the visiting officials.
We are deeply grateful for the continued support of the Conrad Hilton Foundation and all our partners who enable us to nurture, empower, and equip our girls with skills, confidence, and hope for the future.
